Client Work – King’s Sutton Parish Council

King’s Sutton Parish Council asked me in January 2011 to develop a website for the village that would enable the council to inform, educate and entertain local residents. The new site went live in August of that year and has been delivering news, details of village organisations, and local contact details and events listings ever since. I have been given responsibility in recent years for all of the council’s communications efforts and and am delivering the following marketing communications activities on its behalf:

  • Design, copywriting and typesetting of printed and online survey forms
  • Design and typesetting of printed quarterly residents’ newsletter
  • Design, coding and development of all the content for the council’s new responsive village website using Django CMS
  • Hosting and maintenance of village website on the BKA Cloud Server
  • Driving traffic to the village website using a combination of direct mail news announcements (using Mailchimp) and social media (Facebook and Twitter posts via Hootsuite), all of them written by me
  • Application of metrics to web traffic using Google Analytics
